Tropical storm Edouard aims for coasts of Texas and Louisiana

kabonfootprint team News reports

NEW ORLEANS Residents of southeast Texas are preparing for a new tropical storm even as Texans farther down the coast clean up after hurricane Dolly. Forecasters say tropical storm Edouard is on a track to make landfall somewhere in Texas or southwest Louisiana Tuesday morning. It could reach near-hurricane force over the next 24 hours. The fifth named storm of the season had sustained maximum winds of about 80 kilometres per hour earlier Monday. Emergency teams have been activated as Gulf residents prepare for a second strong storm in less than a month. However, Edouard is expected to hit a different stretch of the Texas coast or Louisiana than Dolly did last month. A tropical storm warning is in effect from the mouth of the Mississippi River west to San Luis Pass in Texas.

A hurricane watch is in effect from west of Intracoastal City, Louisiana, to Port O’Connor, Texas. Isolated tornadoes are possible over parts of southern Louisiana and the upper Texas coast later Monday.

The Weather Underground forecast for Tuesday Aug. 5, 2008, says Tropical Storm Edouard will threaten to strengthen into a weak hurricane on Tuesday as it approaches the coastline of the Gulf of Mexico. The storm is expected to make landfall around the border of Texas and Louisiana.

What is kabonfootprint

kabonfootprint

Hi, welcome to our blog, you people must be wondering what is carbon footprint or kabonfootprint ?. Well FYI A carbon footprint or I call it kabonfootprint is known as definition of the human’s affects on the environment which measured terms of amount of green house gases produced. For everyone there is an impact as carbon footprint. I visited one web site and I did one quiz in it which measures my carbon footprint. The result was 3.30 which surprised me because it above the UK average. It separated as 33% for stuff, 25% for both of travel and home and 17% for food.

You don’t want like her don’t you ?
